Congratulations to BOSEPO 2026 winners!
BOSEPO Sparklets is a science fair for the youngest science enthusiasts - age 9-11. We call them "Sparklets" because each is tiny spark fo curiosity that can ingnite a life-long flame of love for science and discovery!
This is an event for young discoverers or petits débrouillards that promotes science and technology through fun, hands-on experimentation. Students work in pairs or alone to complete and present an experiment that demonstrates a scientific or technological concept in a practical, hands-on way, accompanied with a hand-crafted engaging poster. The event is held annually in Bihać - a beautiful city nested on pristine, emerald river Una in the north-west of Bosnia and Herzegovina!
Bihać (Cyrillic: Бихаћ; pronounced [bǐxaːt͡ɕ]) is a city on the River Una in north-western Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Bosanska Krajina region. It is the capital city in the Una-Sana Canton. Bihać is located on the shortest route between Zagreb and the southern part of Croatia’s Dalmatian coast.
Most of the Bihać municipality is rich in water (springs, streams and rivers), with pristine, emerald River Una as its crown jewel. National park Una has some of the most beautiful waterfalls and riverscapes in Europe. Bihać rafting on the Una River is considered one of the best in the region.
The bond between Bihać and Una was forged centuries ago, so no wonder it's called "The city on Una" - yours to discover during BOSEPO Sparklets!
